I WANT TO BECOME A CAST HOPEFUL, what do i do?
The TV casting ranch™ accepts online cast applications for our ‘made for TV reality series’ year round (applications are available under the REGISTER HERE tab). If selected, you will be contacted by telephone for a 10 minutes phone interview following which the agreement will be emailed to you for you to sign. Once we have received the signed agreement, with most shows you will be invited to tour our facility where you will receive the final instructions directly from the Executive Producer.
Please remember that MOST of our TV productions are filmed during the week. APPLY ONLY IF YOU ARE AVAILABLE DURING THE WEEK (usually on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday).
IMPORTANCE OF SOCIAL MEDIA IN SHOWS?
CAST HOPEFULS, PLEASE TAKE NOTE!
YES indeed all our TV productions have a strong social media component that requires cast hopefuls to create, grow and maintain FACEBOOK, TWITTER and INSTAGRAM accounts active during the season AND linked to the show you are a cast of.
Our series are mostly competitive in nature and some have a strong popularity factor attached to them hence a working knowledge of social media by cast hopefuls is an asset.
DO CAST HOPEFULS GET PAID?
All of our ‘made for TV web productions offer some form of CASH as payment however please note that monetary compensation is usually based on your weekly cumulative score and therefore CANNOT BE ANTICIPATED AHEAD OF THE ACTUAL FILMING. Some details will be provided during the phone interview. For example, a cast hopeful that is in last place at any given time during the competition would receive nothing and risk elimination whereas the top 3 cast hopefuls would receive as much as $500 for a day’s taping.
HOW MANY WEEKS DOES A SEASON's TAPING LAST?
A typical day’s taping goes for 10 hours, broken into 45 minutes for dinner PLUS 2 breaks of 15 minutes each. Timing of dinner and sched breaks is at the discretion of the Executive Producer. It is recommended that you bring energy snacks to ensure you remain sharp during the taping.
I DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO A VEHICLE!
The TV casting ranch operates a 21 seat bus shuttle that leaves from MONTMORENCY subway station, in the morning, on every day of the taping. It is available free of charge for CAST HOPEFULS and DAYPASS PLUS ticket holders. Please note that DAYPASS ticket holders may use the shuttle for a small fee (see ticket info for details)
CAST HOPEFULS – We strongly suggest you try to carpool with other cast hopefuls. An opportunity to connect with them is readily available during the INFO session held before taping season begins.

IS A DAYPASS ALWAYS NEEDED TO ATTEND A TAPING?
YES YOU MUST… to attend a TV reality ‘bootcamp training session’ as a spectator, a DAYPASS ticket is required and is ONLY AVAILABLE ON THIS SITE, the easiest way into the TV casting ranch!
PRICES vary depending on the event you want to attend. You will find the price range for regular tapings to be between $35 (for a seat at the event) to $295 per ticket which includes VIP seating, full buffet, swag show bag, pool-house access and an overnight room stay).

The online catalogue on the TV casting ranch website is EXCLUSIVE and not available elsewhere. Most products you will find in the catalogue associate to either the TV casting ranch itself OR one of the TV programs in development.
HERE’s THE TWIST
On some select shows, YOU CAN SUPPORT YOUR FAVOURITE CAST HOPEFUL by purchasing various products from the catalogue. Some of the TV programs such as THE CLUBBERS BACKDOOR! have a point system and products you buy gives your favourite cast hopeful points.
Product catalogue is updated regularly with our latest EXCLUSIVE products. When ordering online ANY product(s), please allow upto 3 to 5 weeks for delivery, especially during taping season where the demand is high. Be advised that very often you will receive your product within a week. We, however make no guarantees since many factors out of our control can affect the delivery of your product.
CAN I DRIVE MY VEHICLE TO THE TV CASTING RANCH?
When any event takes place at the TV Casting Ranch, DAYPASS / DAYPASS PLUS ticket holders are guaranteed ONE car parking on location. Be aware that oversize vehicles (limos) or vehicles with trailers attached or RV’s ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE PROPERTY. If you are unsure weather your vehicle is acceptable, email us, with the name of the event you want to attend, with a photo attached at: email@example.com
CAN I FILM OR TAKE PICTURES WHILE AT THE TV CASTING RANCH?
YES, however just like on any standard TV sets, there is very clear signage across the publicly accessible areas of the property where taking pictures and/or video is not permitted. We simply ask that you obey the signage in any restricted area.
NOTE: please be aware that taking pictures/video of any member of the TV casting ranch staff IS NOT PERMITTED (cast hopefuls ARE NOT staff members and therefore can be filmed and photographed). Staff may be photographed IF you receive EXPRESS consent from the indivual prior to doing so.
REFUNDS, EXCHANGES and TOPICS OF THE SORT?
We stand behind everything we sell.
EVENT CANCELLATION – Should WE cancel any calendar scheduled event for any reason, any DAYPASS / DAYPASS plus ticket holder WILL BE FULLY REFUNDED, no questions asked. Should the event you’ve booked be moved to a different date, you will be contacted by phone/email and given priority for rebooking that date (should you not be available on the new date, the refund will be issued within 72 hours).
Should YOU choose to cancel your ticket, WE will issue you a FULL REFUND up to 10 business days of the event date. Cancelling your DAYPASS / DAYPASS plus ticket between 5 and 10 business days to the event, we will refund you 50% however please note that in the event you cancel less than 5 business days to the event, no refund will be issued (credit only if available for that type of event).
MERCHANDISE ISSUES – due to the point system associated to most product sales, we are unable to refund products. For a manufacturer’s defect if you return the product in its original packaging, it may be exchanged for a new one.
